Rules for Posting
- When you are playing against or with friends, you are posting the actions of your character in a 3rd person story format. Before playing, you and your friends must decide on a Posting Order. A Posting Order is the order in which all of you post. For example, Anon2 is first, so he will be posting first. Anon1 is next, so he will be posting after Anon2, and the process restarts. You will be taking your assigned turns to post.
- A common paragraph is 5-12 sentences long or at least four lines of length within the post. If they are any shorter, the paragraph does not count. A post should be at least one or two paragraphs, though you can have as many as you want. Please be sure that it is an appropriate length. At least 1 paragraph is required in a single post with no exceptions. Any post that falls short will be deleted. These rules also apply to one-on-one fights.
- If you wish to make a point in a post rather than in a chat, then please label your statement as "OOC" for "Out-Of-Character" when posting in a non-RP manner. If you want to continue the post as your character afterwards, please label the following text as "IC" for "In-Character."
- Posts must use complete sentences and proper spelling and grammar. If other people can't understand a post because it is severely lacking in any of these three things, it must be fixed or it will be deleted.
- Dialogue and thoughts should be colored with each having their own respective color. For example, the action text is the default while thoughts are green and dialogue is red. Thoughts must be italicized as opposed to placed within "quotation marks" like dialogue. The general post, actions and fighting and whatnot, must be left in the default text color. If you command multiple characters, the dialogue colors for each must be different, as should the thought colors, assuming you control the thoughts of both characters.
- When you first make an introduction into a thread, you must put your Stats and Skills at the end of the thread in a spoiler. It will be easier for people to refer to that later and compare their abilities to yours. At the end of a post, you must state your remaining Energy if you have used up any within that post. If you have somehow had your Stats changed inside the thread, a new spoiler must be added at the end of the post with the new numbers to show the change. For example, if someone slows you down with a technique to make you slower, you must post your new Speed Stat. If you get stronger because of a drug, you post your new Strength Stat. Additionally, place the techniques you used and how much Energy they spent at the end of a post with a spoiler.
